Javanese Rescue Information: A Javanese is a Siamese with a genetic mutation resulting in a luxurious, thick coat and unusual coloring. Javanese are intelligent and loving lap cats. Javanese have very communicative facial expressions, meows, and body language. Javanese are playful, graceful house cats. Javanese Trivia: Javanese cats are named after the island of Java. Javanese do not have the traditional color combinations of Siamese; long haired Siamese with traditional coloring are called Balinese. (The island of Bali is next to the island of Java.) |
